The Abuse Resource Network contracts with Chrysalis Behavioral Therapy out of Fargo, ND. Clients are able to access their therapy appointments from the comfort of their own home or at the ARN office in a safe/private space.
The therapist approaches working with clients from a strengths-based perspective, with the goal to help you feel empowered and confident. The therapist will create a safe and nonjudgmental environment where you can expect genuineness, empathy, truth, and acceptance.
During the first session, we usually gather important information that will be helpful in working together. This includes, what brings you to therapy, important personal relationships, stressors, and basic family history. You will leave with a general idea of what future sessions will look like. This can be done in person (in our office when scheduled), you can come to our office where we have a quiet, designated room with a laptop for you to do tele-therapy (pictured), or you can do tele-therapy from the comfort of WHEREVER you are! The therapist has experience related to trauma, grief & loss, divorce, depression, anxiety, boundary setting, and self-esteem.
